RESOLUTION NO. 86 -040 <br />WHEREAS, the Honorable George Fisher, Jr. has just <br />completed a service of four years on the City Council of the <br />City of Paris and has just finished serving as Mayor of the <br />City of Paris for a.period of one year; and, <br />WHEREAS, during the time Mayor Fisher served as such <br />Councilman and such Mayor, he gave of his services for the <br />best interests of the City of Paris during a time of great <br />accomplishment; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is aware of the outstanding <br />representation Mayor Fisher provided for the City of Paris <br />and the recognition-.he was instrumental in gaining for the <br />City of Paris as a progressive City; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris is aware <br />of its inaptness in expressing in words the keen respect and <br />admiration of all of the members of the City Council for <br />George Fisher, Jr.; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT. RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That we here and now express to George Fisher, Jr. <br />our full and complete appreciation for his years of service <br />on the City Council and for his one year of service as Mayor <br />of the City of Paris ; and we do here and now extend to him <br />our best wishes for his future welfare and for his continued <br />interest in the future of the City of Paris. <br />Passed and adopted this 12th day of May, 1986. <br />ATTEST: <br />Mattie Cunningham, City Cler <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />i <br />T.
