018` <br />RESOLUTION NO. 86 --048 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did <br />heretofore, in Resolution No. 86- 001,.award the contract for <br />construction of Additions to Water Treatment Plant to <br />Heritage Constructor's, Inc.; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Engineering, John Buss, <br />recommends the amendment of said contract by Change Order <br />No. 3 attached hereto as Exhibit "A ", which provides for a <br />net increase in contract price of $26,913.00 to a total of <br />$3,072,270.00 and an increase in contract time of five (5) <br />calendar days, for relocation of the 2400 volt electrical <br />service, as described in the Engineer's letter of April 3, <br />1986, for furnishing and installation of fiberglass baffle <br />and diffuser walls as describes in the Engineer's letters of <br />April 30, 1986 and May 22, 1986, and for piping changes at <br />the Maxey Plant alum sludge connection, as described in the <br />contractor's letter of May 14, 1986 and the Engineer's <br />letter of May 28, 1986; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That the contract for Addition to the Water Treatment <br />Plant is hereby amended by Change Order No. 3 attached <br />hereto as Exhibit "A" and the Mayor of the City of Paris, <br />Billy Joe Burnett, is hereby authorized and directed, on <br />behalf of the City of Paris, to execute said Change Order. <br />Passed and adopted this 9th day of June, 1986. <br />ATTEST: <br />Mattie Cunningham City C er <br />..
