Councilman Wilson moved that a report from the Building Hazard Inspection Committee of the City of Paris be received. The motion was seconded by Councilman Hoog and carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. Mayor Fisher declared the public hearing open on the property determined by the Building Hazard Inspection Committee to be a fire hazard and /or dilapidated, or dangerous structure, and /or nuisances. No one appeared and the public hearing was declared closed. ORDINANCE NO. 86 -002 AN ORDINANCE CONTAINING A HEARING ON PROPERTIES LOCATED IN THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, BELONGING TO VARIOUS OWNERS, AND AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL FINDING AND MATERIALS REMAINING ON THE PREMISES TO CONSTITUTE A NUISANCE AND TO BE A FIRE HAZARD TO LIFE AND PROPERTY AND A HAZARD TO THE LIFE AND WELFARE OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA, AND ORDERING SAID RUBBISH, LUMBER AND REFUSE FROM THE STRUCTURES TO BE TORN DOWN AND REMOVED FROM THE PREMISES IN ORDER TO ABATE SUCH NUISANCE. was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Wilson, seconded by Councilman Hoog for adoption of the Ordinance. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. Resolution No. 86 -014 ordering the Regular Municipal Election for the City of Paris, Paris, Texas to be held on the First Saturday in April 1986, same being the 5th day of April, 1986, between the hours of 7:00 A. M. and 7:00 P. M., by the qualified voters of Wards 1, 2, 3, and 6 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, with absentee voting for the same being conducted in the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, from the 17th day of March, 1986, through the 1st day of April, 1986, between the hours of 8:00 A. M. and 5:00 P. M., for the purpose of electing the Councilmen from each of said wards to serve as members of the City Council for the ensuing two years. A motion was made by Councilman Wilson, seconded by Councilman Williams for adoption of the Resolution. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays.
