86 -024 RESOLUTION NO. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore on the 9th day of September, 1985 pass and adopt Resolution No. 85 -079 authorize the procurement of Right -of -way and temporary easements for a project of construction of a 45 foot paved street, measured from back to back of concrete curb with related facilities, utilities and other appurtenances on Collegiate Drive described in two segments, the first segment being from a point approximately 70 feet South of the center line of the South lane of Loop 286 N. E. , Southerly 460.2 feet to the North boundary line of Lot 2 , Block 3, Town North Estates; and the second segment being from a point approximately 5 feet North of the South property line of Lot 20, Block 2 Town North Estates, Southerly 2939 feet to the North edge of the pavement of Lamar Ave.; and, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did thereafter, on the 13th day of January, 1986 pass and adopt Resolution No. 86 -009 which changed the descriptions of some of the parcels needed for the project, and, in particular, parcel. number 27 which appeared as Exhibit Number 27 to Resolution No. 85 -079 and a part of Exhibit A to Resolution No. 86 -009 which parcel number 27 has been re- described reflecting a further relocation of a portion of the right -of -way adjacent to the property owned by Blankinship Oil Company which is designated as Lot 2, City Block 286; and, WHEREAS, •the City Council finds that the above described parcel for Fight -of -Way as shown on Exhibit A attached hereto is necessary for said improvement project and that the same should be condemned; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That the City Attorney, T. K. Haynes, be and he is hereby authorized and directed to proceed to condemn the property described in Exhibit A attached hereto to be used for Collegiate Drive Improvement project from Loop 286 N.
