r ax Mayor Graham announced that the next order of business would be consideration of and - action on payment of $3,824.00 to the Ark -Tex Council of Government for the 1985 Membership Dues. A motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by Councilman Wilson. The motion carried 5 ayes 2 nays, Councilman Fisher, and and Mayor Joe Graham voting no. Mayor Graham called for the tabulations of bids for Emulsion, and the following bids were presented: Riffe Petroleum Company .7499 per Gal. Gator Tex Corp. .7113 per Gal. Texas Emulsions .6866 per Gal. Councilman Burnett moved that bids received for Emulsion received at a public bid opening on April 3, 1985 be spread on the record and that inasmuch as Texas Emulsions had submitted the lowest and best bid for providing such item that a contract be awar& d Texas Emulsions for providing such item meeting City specifica- tions. The motion was seconded by Councilman Williams and carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. Mayor Graham called for the tabulations of bids for 3,000 Tons of Coverstone and the following bids were presented: John Tonubbee Amis Material Boorhem- Fields $38,850.00 $39,750.00 $35,640.00 Councilman Burnett moved that bids received for 3,000 Tons of Coverstone received at a public bid opening on April 3, 1985 be spread on the record and that inasmuch as Boorhem - Fields had submitted the lowest and best bid for providing such item that a contract be awarded Boorhem - Fields for providing such item meeting City specifications. The motion was seconded by Councilman Williams and carried 7 ayes 0 nays Mayor Grham called for the tabulations of bids for Stock Pile Aggregate, and the following bids were presented: Boorhem - Fields bid was opened by mistake Charlie Crook Vice - President General Manager of Boorhem - Fields called at 9:00 A.M. April 3, to withdraw bid Sam Gentle Limestone 6.92 Sandstone 7.88 Limestone 6.98 Sandstone 7.48 Haul Limestone 3.23 per Ton Haul Sandstone 3.48 per Ton Councilman Burnett moved that bids received for Stock Pile Aggregate received at a public bid opening on April 3, 1985 be spread on the record and that inasmuch as Sam Gentle had submitted the lowest and best bid for providing such item that a contract be awarded Sam Gentle for providing such item meeting City specifications. The motion was seconded by Councilman Williams, and carried 7 ayes, 0 nays.
