� ZY <br />� i Y <br />a <br />r <br />.wt <br />T 1 <br />users by LCWSD engaged in industrial heavy man- <br />ufacturing activity not purchasing water from <br />LCWSD as of the effective date of this contract in <br />the event that the consumption of such water by <br />such end user exceeds an. annual average of 100,000 <br />gallons per month. <br />C. Following the interim period set out above <br />and continuing until expansion of Pat Mayse Raw Water <br />Transmission Facilities, and subject to the safe avail- <br />ability of raw water at the Water. Treatment Plant the City, <br />will guarantee to LCWSD 1,150 million gallons per year <br />(3,150,000 gallons per annual average day of potable water..), <br />of which not to exceed 1,400,000 gallons per day may be <br />taken through the City's distribution system. This increased <br />distribution system requirement of LCWSD shall be met by <br />City no later than July 1, 1987, unless provisions of the <br />July 17, 1967, contract as amended by Paragraph I B hereof <br />are reinstated. The City may require that all amounts of <br />water be taken at a uniform rate that does not exceed 21% of <br />the raw water safely available at the Water Treatment Plant <br />or 2,188 gallons per minute, whichever is greater. In the <br />event the City has the safe capacity to deliver to its <br />customers and other customers an amount in excess of <br />15,000,000 gallons' of potable water per day, the City will <br />make available to LCWSD. an amount not to exceed 21% of such <br />5 <br />
