RESOLUTION NO. 85 -010 WHEREAS, the City of Paris did heretofore in Resolution No. 84 -053 authorize contracting with Withers Land Forming, Inc., for the execution of the Landfill Closure And Flow Equalization Basin Site Development Project; and, WHEREAS, an abnormal amount of .rainfall during the month of October 1984, rainfall during the month of November. and December 1984, rainfall, snow and ice during the month of January 1985 and early February 1985, delayed adequate progress in the execution of excavation and placement of landfill cover, and necessitated the granting of a time extension for the completion of the cover placement phase of the landfill closure work in the amount of 30 calendar days, as shown in Change Order No. 2 attached hereto as Exhibit A, which should be approved; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That Change Order No. 2 to City of Paris contract with Withers Land Forming, Inc., is hereby approved; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT Joe Graham, Mayor of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Change Order on behalf of the City of Paris. A motion was made by Councilman Hoog, seconded by Councilman Burnett for approval of the Resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays.
