<br />RESOLUTION NO. 85 -012
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did at
<br />its Regular Meeting on January 14, 1985, approve the
<br />advertisement for bids for furnishing all plant, labor,
<br />material and equipment and performing all work required for
<br />the repair of a potable water storage tank, internal
<br />cathodic protection of the same tank, and external cathodic
<br />protection of the same tank, entitled Tank Floor Repair and
<br />Installation of Cathodic Protection Systems, which bids were
<br />received until 10:00 o'clock A.M., Wednesday, January 30,
<br />1985; and,
<br />WHEREAS, the best bid for such repair project was made
<br />by Tank Builders, Inc., P. 0. Box 637, Euless, Texas 76039,
<br />which with proposed alternates as limited by the Engineer
<br />was equal to or exceeded the bid specification, and it
<br />should be awarded the bid for such repair project; and,
<br />WHEREAS, the form of contract for such repair project
<br />is attached hereto as Exhibit A, and such form should be
<br />approved; NOW, THEREFORE,
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />PARIS, that the Bid of Tank Builders, Inc,, for tank floor
<br />repair and installation of cathodic protection systems
<br />project, in the amount of $100,100.00, is hereby accepted
<br />and let, conditioned upon said contractor meeting all of the
<br />terms and specifications included in the bid document; and,
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor of the Citv of -
<br />Paris, Joe Graham, be, and he is hereby authorized and
<br />directed to execute on behalf of the City of Paris the
<br />contract for tank floor repair and installation of cathodic
<br />protection systems, upon the terms and conditions and in the
<br />form shown in Exhibit A attached hereto, with Tank Builders,
<br />Inc.
<br />Passed and adopted this 11th day of February, 1985.

<br />Resolution No.85 -013 ordering an election to be held on the First Saturday in
<br />April 1985 that being April 6, 1985 for Wards 4, 5, and 7 of the City of Paris
<br />for the purpose of electing the Councilmen for each Ward to serve as members of
<br />the City Council for the ensuing two years was presented. A motion was made by
<br />Councilman Burnett, seconded by Councilman Williams approving the Resolution.
<br />The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays.
