1 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 85,-021 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did at <br />its regular meeting on January 14, 1985, approve the adver- <br />tisement for bids for furnishing all plant, labor, material <br />and equipment and performing all work required for the <br />construction of all drywall partitions; interior doors and <br />frames, including finish hardware; interior glass and <br />glazing, including fixed glass frames for the City Hall <br />Annex project, entitled Interior Construction Work, which <br />bids were received until 10:00 o'clock A.M., Tuesday, <br />February 26, 1985; and, <br />WHEREAS, the best bid for such construction was made by <br />Hilliard and Sons Contractors, Inc., P. O. Box 426, Paris, <br />Texas 75460, and it should be awarded the bid for such <br />construction; and, <br />WHEREAS, the form of contract for such construction <br />project is attached hereto as Exhibit A, and such form <br />should be approved; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, that the Bid of Hilliard and Sons Contractors, Inc., <br />in the amount of $19,649.00, is hereby accepted and let; <br />and, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor of the City of <br />Paris, Joe Graham, be, and he is hereby authorized and <br />directed to execute Qn behalf of the City of Paris the <br />contract for Interior Construction Work, City Hall Annex <br />project, upon the terms and conditions and in the form shown <br />in Exhibit A attached hereto, with Hilliard and Sons <br />Contractors, Inc. <br />Passed and adopted this 11th day of March, 1985. <br />roe Graham, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />ttie Cunningham, A�,sistan`t City Clerk <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />T.
