RESOLUTION NO. 85 -001
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris,
<br />Texas, did in Resolution No. 1674, approve the application
<br />for federal grant under the Federal Water Pollution Control
<br />Act Amendments of 1972, Public Law No. 92 -500 and the rules
<br />and regulations pursuant thereto; and
<br />WHEREAS, said Resolution authorized the City Manager of
<br />the City of Paris, Kerry R. Sweatt, and his successors in
<br />office, to execute on behalf of the City of Paris, all
<br />grants, applications, communications, documents, assurances,
<br />notices and other project related items in making applica-
<br />tion for grant under Public Law No. 92 -500 and the rules and
<br />regulations pursuant thereto, and to sign the acceptance of
<br />the grant, when made, and any other necessary documents
<br />required to complete the project on behalf of the City of
<br />Paris; and
<br />WHEREAS, the current City Manager of the City of Paris
<br />is David H. Doty, who is under the authority granted in
<br />Resolution No. 1674, the person authorized to do the above
<br />enumerated things; NOW, THEREFORE,
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />PARIS, That David H. Doty, City Manager of the City of
<br />'-Paris, is as a successor to Kerry R. Sweatt, authorized as.
<br />provided in said Resolution No. 1674 heretofore passed and
<br />adopted on the 24th day of March, 1975, a copy of which is
<br />attached hereto as Exhibit A'and made a part hereof.
