The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 85 -003 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS <br />AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISH- <br />ING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) ON LOTS 3 AND 4, BLOCK 2, STELLROSE ADDITION, <br />ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO JAMES R. COLEMAN, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY <br />FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2 (SF -2); AND DESIGNA- <br />TING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) SO ESTABLISHED. <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Bell, seconded by Councilman <br />Fisher for adoption of the Ordinance. ARNOLD, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A <br />TWO FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE OFFICE <br />DISTRICT (0) SO ESTABLISHED. <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Fisher, seconded by Councilman <br />Bell for adoption of the Ordinance. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Director of Engineering Service, John Buss appeared before the Council and <br />presented plans and specifications for ground storage water tank repair, and <br />requested the Council's approval of the plans and specifications and authorize <br />bids for the work. A motion was made by Councilman Hoog, seconded by Councilman <br />Williams approving the plans and specifications and authorizing bids be taken <br />for the repair work. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Graham called for the tabulation of bids received at a public bid opening <br />January 9, 1985 for crack sealing at Cox Field Airport, and the following bids <br />were presented: <br />Richard Drake Construction <br />3M Seal Coat Co. <br />Riffe Petroleum Co. <br />Pavement Conservation Inc. <br />Chapparal Asphalt <br />Fred Bader Const. Co. <br />44� <br />per <br />ft. or <br />$49,280.00 <br />23� <br />per <br />ft. or <br />$25,760.00 <br />no bid <br />- <br />30� <br />per <br />ft. or <br />$33,600.00 <br />40� <br />per <br />ft. or <br />$44,800.00 <br />22� <br />per <br />ft. or <br />$24,640.00 <br />A motion was made by Councilman Hoog, seconded by Councilman Williams approving <br />the bid of the Fred Bader Construction Company in the amount of $22� per ft. or <br />$24,640.00. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Graham called for the tabulation of bids on Chain Link Fencing at Culbertson <br />Tennis Courts, and the following bids were presented: <br />Pridemore Fence Company $ 2,304.81 <br />Metro Fence & Hardware $ 1,950.00 (Alternate 1700.00) <br />City Manager Doty advised that the Director of Parks and Recreation had recommended <br />the alternate bid of $1,700.00 be accepted. A motion was made by Councilman Hoog, <br />seconded by Councilman Williams accepting the alternate bid of Metro Fence and <br />Hardware Company in the amount of $1,700.00. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Resolution No. 85 -001 authorizing the City Manager to execute documents under a <br />Federal Grant from the Federal Water Pollution Control Act Amendments of 1972 <br />as provided in Resolution No. 1674, City of Paris was presented.
