The CONTRACTOR hereby agrees to commence work within ten (10) days after the date written notice to do so shall lithe been givcn to him, and to substantially complete the same within 109 calendar working days after the date of the written notice to commence work, subject to such extensions of time as are provided by the General and Special Conditions. however, such work shall be preformed during the period from May 20, 1985 through June 28, 1985. The OWNER agrees to pay the CONTRACTOR in current funds the price or prices shown in the proposal, which forms a part of this con- tract, such payments to be subject to the General and Special Conditions of the contract. After discussion, the Mayor instructed the City Attorney to prepare a draft of an Ordinance to this effect to be reviewed by the Council. Dan Brotton, Director of Public Works appeared before the Council and discussed street repair and street construction. Mayor Graham invited the Council's attention to the recommendations of the Traffic Commission at it's meeting held on February 5, 1985.
