RESOLUTION NO. 85 -024
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did at
<br />its regular meeting on January 14, 1985, approve the adver-
<br />tisement for bids for furnishing all plant, materials,
<br />equipment, tools, scaffolding, rigging, hoisting, labor and
<br />transportation necessary for the complete installation of
<br />the air conditioning and ventilating systems for the City
<br />Hall Annex project, entitled Mechanical Work, which bids
<br />were received until 10 :00 o'clock A.M., Tuesday, March 26,
<br />1985; and,
<br />WHEREAS, the best bid for such construction was made by
<br />Paris Air Conditioning Co., 3460 Pine Mill Road, Paris,
<br />Texas 75460, and it should be awarded the bid for such
<br />construction; and,
<br />WHEREAS, the form of contract for such construction
<br />project is attached hereto as Exhibit A, and such form
<br />should be approved; NOW, THEREFORE,
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />PARIS, that the Bid of Paris Air Conditioning Co., in the
<br />amount of $19,687.00, is hereby accepted and let; and,
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor of the City of
<br />Paris, Joe Graham, be, and he is hereby authorized and
<br />directed to execute on behalf of the City of Paris the
<br />contract for Mechanical Work, City Hail Annex project, upon
<br />the terms and conditions and in the form shown in Exhibit A
<br />attached hereto, with Paris Air Conditioning Co.
<br />Passed and adopted this 1st day of April, 1985.
