Mr. Theron Maness appeared before the Council stating that he was <br />in the aircraft with Mr. Wrenn and that improper statement had been <br />given concerning the incident. <br />Concerning item 9, Mrs. Kristine Campbell appeared before the Council and <br />requested City Attorney Haynes to read a statement made by her concerning <br />the violation of the traffic pattern at Cox Field Airport by Jimmy <br />Wrenn on April 25, 1983. City Attorney Haynes read Ms. Campbell's <br />statement. <br />Dr. Edward Miller appeared before the Council stating that he had <br />witnessed the Campbell incident on April 25, 1983. <br />City Attorney Haynes advised the Council that the Insurance as <br />requested by the City on March 31st had been furnished by Mr. Wrenn's <br />Insurance Company. <br />Mr. Richard Maginn, Loma Alto Corporation, appeared before the Council <br />stating that he was the operator of the lease for surplus land at <br />Cox Field, being about 1500 acres, that he had had the surplus land <br />sprayed, and that he had used Mr. Wrenn as a mechanic on his equipment. <br />City Attorney Haynes advised the Council to continue the temporary <br />permit on Mr. Wrenn to a day certain, until the Attorneys had time <br />to review the cases. After discussion, a motion was made by Council - <br />man Bell, seconded by Councilman Williams to continue the temporary <br />permit with Mr. Wrenn until the Attorneys had had time to review the <br />cases and with a 30 day limit to set the date of a meeting.
