0 ..L <br />City Attorney Haynes stated the list of allegations were delivered to <br />the Attorney, Jim D. Lovett on May 14, 1983 and at the same time to <br />Jimmy Wrenn and that item 10 had been added since delivery. <br />In regard to item 1, City Attorney Haynes advised theCouncil that <br />Richard Biard resided in Houston, Texas and was not able to attend <br />the hearing. <br />In regard to item 2, James Paul England a former employee of the <br />City appeared before the Council describing the incident and alledged <br />assualt by Jimmy Wrenn on about September 10, 1981. <br />In regard to item 4, Mr. and Mrs. Herb' Cambell appeared before the <br />Council and described their difficulty in delivering a aircraft for <br />maintenance and repair to Jimmy Wrenn and the difficulty in getting <br />the return of the aircraft from Mr. Wrenn. <br />In regard to item 5, Mr. Larry Thomas of Mt. Vernon was not in the <br />audience to describe the violated traffic pattern on or about 10th <br />day of December 1982. <br />Mr. Haynes stated that item 6 which was on or about April 8, 1983, <br />a complaint by Roger BoxwelI of low flying aircraft had been with- <br />drawn. <br />In regard to item 3, Mr. Jesse Wintermute appeared before the Council <br />stating that Mr. Jimmy Wrenn, Pilot, and he and his son as passengers, <br />were flown dangerously low at a time when Mr. Wintermute and his son <br />were passengers in the aircraft. Also Mr. Wintermute described the <br />spraying of Cox Field by Mr. Wrenn which enterferred with the proper <br />traffic patterns according to Mr. Wintermute. <br />Airport Manager, Jim Collier appeared before the Council stating that <br />the City has never asked for the Airport to be sprayed. Mr. Collier <br />advised that on April 10th and 25th, 1983 complaints against Mr. <br />Wrenn had been filed with the FAA. <br />Ms. Beverly Allen, Denison, Pilot Instructor appeared before the <br />Council stating that spray operations were not uncommon on airfield; <br />that Jimriy Wrenn was a good aircraft mechanic. She also stated that <br />she witnessed the James Paul England incident. <br />In regard to item 7, Mr. Austin Ellis appeared before the Council <br />stating that he had filed a report at the request of the FAA on the <br />April 10, 1983 spraying of the Airport. <br />In regard to item 8, City Attorney Haynes read a statement of Mr. <br />Ellis stating that on April 15, 1983 Mr. Wrenn violated a traffic <br />pattern and flew dangerously close to another aircraft operated by <br />Austin Ellis and Sherri Babb. <br />Councilman Walter Williams entered the Council chamber and assumed <br />his chair at the Council table. <br />
