MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />February 14, 1983 <br />The City Council of the City of Pa <br />February 14, 1983 at 7:00 P. M. in <br />Mayor Graham called the meeting to <br />present: W. C. Francis, Donald G. <br />P. McGee, and Walter F. Williams. <br />Acting City Manager, T. K. Haynes, <br />Acting City Clerk. <br />ris met in regular session Monday, <br />the Council Room of City Hall. <br />order with the following Councilmen <br />Wilson, George Fisher, Jr., Larry <br />Also present were H. C. Greene, <br />City Attorney, and Joe N. McCollum <br />Prayer was offered by Tom Lane of the First Baptist Church. <br />Mayor Graham asked if there were any corrections to minutes of previous <br />meetings and there being none, the minutes were approved as presented. <br />Mayor Graham announced the first order of business would be considera- <br />tion of recommendations made by the Planning and Zoning Commission. <br />Mayor Graham declared the public hearing open on the petition of St. <br />Joseph's Hospital for a change in zoning from a Two Family Dwelling <br />District to an Office District on part of Lots 8 and 9, Block 4, Felt <br />Fort and Varner Addition located on the east side of 10th S. E., 195 <br />feet south of E. Austin Street. <br />There was no one present who wished to speak on the matter, and the <br />public hearing was declared closed. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2-r- %Z-00'5 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP <br />OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A OFFICE DISTRICT (0) ON PART OF LOTS 8 AND <br />9, BLOCK 4, FELT, FORT AND VARNER ADDITION, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO <br />ST. JOSEPH'S HOSPITAL, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY <br />DESIGNATED AS A TWO FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F); AND DESIGNATING <br />THE BOUNDARIES OF THE OFFICE DISTRICT (0) SO ESTABLISHED. <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Williams for approval <br />of the Ordinance. Councilman Fisher seconded the motion which carried <br />6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Graham declared the public hearing open on the petition of Ann <br />McKnight and Bill Vaughn for a change in.z-oning from an Agricultural <br />District and Light Industrial District to a Multi- Family dwelling <br />District No. 1 on a 25.03 acre tract of land located on the south side <br />of the Texas and Pacific Railroad and the east side of 12th S. E. <br />There was no one present to speak for or against the petition and <br />Mayor Graham declared the public hearing closed. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2-67 98 -006 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING <br />MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHED A MULTI - FAMILY DWELLING DISTIRCT NO. 1 <br />(MF -1) ON A 25.03 ACRE TRACT OF LAND LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF <br />THE TEXAS AND PACIFIC RAILROAD AND THE EAST SIDE OF 12th S.
