Councilman Wilson seconded the motion which carried <br />6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Graham declared the public.hearing open on the petition of David <br />Glass for a change in zoning on part of Lots 2 and 3, City Block 319 <br />located on the south side of F. M. 195 at spur 139 as follows: Tract <br />No.-1, 1.98 acre from a One Family Dwelling District No. 2 to a General <br />Retail District; Tract 2, 33.86 acres from a One Family Dwelling <br />District No. 2 and General Retail District to a Multi- Family Dwelling <br />District No. 1. <br />There was no one present to speak for or against the petition and the <br />public hearing was declared closed) <br />ORDINANCE NO. 26-7 r6'�-OD�j <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING <br />MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) ON <br />TRACT 1, AND A MULTI - FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 1 (MF -1) ON TRACT <br />2, ON PART OF LOTS 2 AND 3, CITY BLOCK 319, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO <br />DAVID GLASS, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED <br />AS A ONE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2 (SF -2) AND GENERAL RETAIL <br />DISTRICT (GR); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL <br />DISTRICT (GR) AND MULTI - FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 1(MF -1) SO <br />ESTABLISHED. <br />was presented. The motion carried <br />6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Graham declared the public hearing open on the petition of the <br />State Department of Highways and Public Transportation for a change in <br />zoning from an agricultural district to a Public Lands and Institution <br />District on part of Lot 22, City Block 307 located on the southeast <br />corner of Old Bonham Road and Loop 286 S. W. <br />James Jackson, R. 0. W. Agent for the Department explained their need <br />to re- locate the maintenance and resident Engineer's facilities from <br />its present location on N. Main to this site to alleviate traffic <br />problems and provide better distribution of service. <br />He said they would be coming back to the Council for Water and Sewer <br />Service and to improve Old Bonham Road in front of the property. <br />There was no one present in opposition and Mayor Graham declared the <br />public hearing closed. <br />
