ORDINANCE NO. -2 -674 9�5 -00$ <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING <br />MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTIONS DIST- <br />RICT (PLI),ON PART OF LOT 22, CITY BLOCK 309, ON PROPERTY BELONGING <br />TO THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS AND PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION, SO AS <br />TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN AGRICULTURAL —� <br />DISTRICT (A); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE PUBLIC LAND AND <br />INSTITUTIONS DISTRICT (PLI) SO ESTABLISHED <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Wilson, seconded by <br />Councilman Fisher for approval of the Ordinance. The motion carried <br />6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Graham declared the public hearing open on the petition of <br />Eugene Lancaster for a change in zoning from a One Family Dwelling <br />District No. 2 to a Two Family Dwelling District on Lot 5, City Block <br />5, Springlake Addition, located at 334 28th N. E. <br />The Planning an -d Zoning Commission had recommended denial of the <br />petition. There was no one present to speak for or against the petition <br />and the public hearing was declared closed. <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING <br />MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A TWO FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F) <br />ON LOT 5, BLOCK 5, SPRINGLAKE ADDITION, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO <br />EUGENE LANCASTER, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGN- <br />ATED AS A ONE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2 (SF -2); AND DESIGNATING <br />THE BOUNDARIES OF THE TWO FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F) SO ESTABLISHED. <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman McGee, seconded by <br />Councilman Wilson to deny the Ordinance. The motion carried 6 ayes, <br />0 nays. <br />Mayor Graham declared the public hearing open on the petition of John <br />Hutchings, Charlie Adkins, John Miles and Bob McCarley for a change <br />in zoning from a One Family Dwelling District No. 2 and Office District <br />to General Retail District on Lots 15, 16, 17, and 18, City Block 296 <br />located on the north side of Lamar Avenue east of 33rd S. E. <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission had recommended Planned Development - <br />Retail zoning for the property. <br />Councilman Wilson asked to be excused due to conflict of interest and <br />left the Council room. <br />Bob McCarley spoke for the petition and told the Council they were <br />completely in agreement with the recommendation of the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission for Planned Development zoning. <br />No one else spoke on the matter and the public hearing was declared ! j <br />closed. <br />
