<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2118
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did at
<br />its regular meeting on the 13th day of July, 1981, approve
<br />;.he advertisement for bids for the construction of approxi-
<br />tiately 1,341 square yards of concrete lined channel, 85.33
<br />cubic yards of structural concrete for two concrete box
<br />culv�-rts,and miscellaneous items of related work located
<br />;!long a branch of Big Sandy Creek, east of 17th Street, S.E.,
<br />beginning approximately 100 feet south of East Washington
<br />Street and ending approximately 50 feet south of East Cedar
<br />Street, within the corporate limits of the City of Paris,
<br />Paris, Texas, which bids were received until 10:00 o'clock
<br />A. M., Wednesday, August 5, 1981; and,
<br />WHERFAS, the best bid for such construction project
<br />was made by David Buster, d /b /a David Buster Construction
<br />Company, Paris, Texas, and he should be awarded the contract
<br />or such project; and,
<br />WHEREAS, the form of contract to complete said project
<br />-s attached hereto as Exhibit A; NOW, THEREFORE,
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />_Paris, That the bid of David Buster, d /b /a David Buster
<br />Construction Company, for the above described construction
<br />,:,ork, in the amount of $82,623.40,is hereby accepted and
<br />let, conditioned upon said contractor meeting all of the
<br />t=erms and specifications included in the bid documents; and,
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor of the City of
<br />Paris, Billy Joe Burnett, be, and he is hereby authorized
<br />and directed to execute on behalf of the City of Paris, the
<br />;contract for the above described work, upon the terms and
<br />:onditions and in the form shown in Exhibit A attached
<br />:ereto with David Buster, d /b /a David Buster Construction
<br />Company.
<br />Passed and adopted this 10th day of August, 1981.
