3rd <br />Mr. John Hastings, Director of the Library Services, appeared before the Council <br />recommending that the Resolution be adopted concerning treatment of persons who <br />do not return library materials. Chief Whitley appeared before the Council and <br />directed remarks toward the program. After discussion, a motion was made by <br />Councilman McGee, seconded by Councilman Wortham endorsing the program of the <br />Library Services. The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Burnett called for the reading of a previously authorized Ordinance <br />amending Driveway Ordinance No. 1565. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2594 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF <br />ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTION 27 -36 OF SAID CODE; <br />PROVIDING FOR DRIVEWAY SPECIFICATIONS; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED <br />$200.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; <br />AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF NOVEMBER 1, 1981. <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Williams, seconded by Councilman <br />Francis for adoption of the Ordinance. The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />City Manager Sokoll presented a request of Cooper Butane Company for an LPG <br />Propane Service Station at 315 West Center for the Valley Feed Mill, and <br />recommended its approval. <br />Resolution No. 2125 authorizing Fire Marshal Oswald Guiliiam to execute on <br />behalf of the City of Paris such waivers as required by Section 9.5 of the LPG <br />Safety Rules of the Railroad Commission of Texas was presented. A motion was <br />made by Councilman McGee, seconded by Councilman Williams for adoption of the <br />Resolution. The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays. <br />r: <br />p <br />i <br />_ 1 <br />
