`a <br />t <br />MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />October 22, 1981 <br />The special meeting of the City Council of the City of Paris was held Thursday, <br />October 22, 1981, 4:15 P. M. Mayor Burnett called the meeting to order with <br />the following Councilmen present: W. C. Francis, Walter F. Williams, Travis <br />Wortham, Joe Graham, and Larry McGee. Also present were City Manager, R. W. <br />Sokoll, City Attorney, T. K. Haynes, and City Clerk, H. C. Greene. <br />Mayor Burnett announced that the special meeting was called for the purpose <br />of passing a salary rate schedule for the Acting Director of the Health Department, <br />Dr. Joe Hillhouse. <br />City Attorney Haynes read Resolution No 2126 as well as the attached exhibit <br />that being an employment contract between the City of Paris and County of Lamar <br />and Dr. Joe Hillhouse. A motion was made by Councilman Graham, seconded by <br />Councilman McGee for adoption of the Resolution. The motion carried 6 ayes, <br />0 nays. <br />
