<br />During discussion, Mr. John Powell representing the Mahanay International Company
<br />McKinney, Texas appeared before the Council and Mr. Bill Leavengood representing
<br />the Case Power & Equipment Company of Paris, Texas appeared before the Council.
<br />After discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Williams, seconded by Councilman
<br />McGee to accept the low bid of Mahanay International Company, McKinney, Texas in
<br />the amount of $20,450.00. The motion carried 5 ayes, 0 nays.
<br />City Manager Sokoil requested authorization to advertise for bids for four patrol
<br />cars for the Police Department. A motion was made by Councilman Williams, seconded
<br />by Councilman Francis authorizing the request of the City Manager. The motion
<br />carried 5 ayes, 0 nays.
<br />Mayor Burnett called for the reading of a previously authorized Ordinance regulat-
<br />ing outside burning. Chief Burgin appeared before the Council and explained the
<br />conditions contained in the Ordinance.
