Councilman Kohls made a motion to table items 8 and 9 concerning the locations <br />of mobile homes pending the outcome of item 10 which is an Ordinance regulating <br />the location of manufactured houses within the City, Councilman Williams seconded <br />the motion and the motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Malone announced that the next item was to consider previously authorized <br />Ordinances regulating the location of manufactured houses within the City. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2565 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF <br />ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTIONS 19 -1 AND 19 -2 OF SAID <br />CODE; PROVIDING DEFINITIONS FOR TERMS USED IN THE MANUFACTURED HOUSING INDUSTRY <br />AND PROHIBITING THE LOCATION OF SAME, OTHER THAN AS PERMITTED BY CHAPTER 19 OF <br />THE CODE OF ORDINANCES AND THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, AND BY <br />REVISING ARTICLE II OF CHAPTER 19 AND SECTION 19 -15, PROHIBITING THE USE OF <br />TRAVEL TRAILERS AND MOTOR HOMES AS RESIDENCES AND REPEALING SECTIONS 19 -16 <br />THROUGH 19 -21 OF SAID CODE; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; <br />REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND <br />PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF MAY 1, 1981. <br />was presented. Following discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Burnett, <br />seconded by Councilman Williams for adoption of the Ordinance. The motion <br />carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />PRDINANCE NO. 2566 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, <br />ESTABLISHING USES FOR MODULAR HOME, MOBILE HOME, MOBILE HOME SUBDIVISION AND <br />MOBILE HOME PARK; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING <br />ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING <br />FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF MAY 1, 1981. <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by Council- <br />man Williams for adoption of the Ordinance. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />A motion was then made by Councilman Kohls seconded by Councilman Williams, <br />to take item 8 and 9 from the table. The motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Malone declared the public hearing open on the request of Henry E. Fisher <br />for placement of a 14' x 75' mobile home on Lot 8, City Block 4, Sperry's <br />First Addition, located on the west side of 27th N. W. between Cherry and <br />Shilop Street. <br />Mayor Malone called for proponents to appear, and none appeared. <br />Mayor Malone called for opponents to appear, and none appeared, and the public <br />hearing was declared closed. <br />
