21 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY T11E CITY <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That from the above and fore- <br />going canvass of the returns of the votes in the three (3) respec- <br />tive voting boxes in such election, it is declared and determined <br />that Joe Graham is the person receiving the highest number of <br />votes of the votes cast at such election for Councilman From <br />Ward Four (4), and is therefore elected to serve as Councilman <br />From Ward Four (4) and as a member of the City Council of the <br />City of Paris for the ensuing two (2) years; that W. C. Francis is <br />the person receiving the highest number of votes of the votes cast <br />at such election for Councilman From Ward Five (5), and is there- <br />fore elected to serve as Councilman From Ward Five (5) and as a <br />member of the City Council of the City of Paris for the ensuing <br />two (2) years; and that Larry P. McGee is the person receiving the <br />highest number of votes of the votes cast at such election for <br />Councilman From Ward Seven (7), and is therefore elected to serve <br />as Councilman From Ward Seven (7) and as a member of the City <br />Council of the City of Paris for the ensuing two (2) years. <br />Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris <br />in special session convened pursuant to the directions of the City <br />Charter of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, on this the 15th day of <br />April, 1981. <br />T-- M chael E. lone, Mayor <br />I <br />ATTE T• <br />C.
