The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Malone called for reading of an Ordinance previously authorized changing <br />the procedures of request for placing mobile homes on an individual lot. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2510 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF <br />ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PARIS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTIONS 19 -18 THROUGH <br />19 -20; PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF A PERMANENT PERMIT FOR THE LOCATION OF A <br />MOBILE HOME OUTSIDE OF A MOBILE HOME PARK; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO <br />EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT <br />HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JULY 1, 1980. <br />was presented. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />City Manager Sokoll presented a request from Jack Henderson, 1215 Sherwood Drive <br />in the Margraves Addition for water service outside the city limits. City Attorney <br />Haynes reported to the Council that Mr. Henderson would be allowed to construct a <br />2 inch line outside the city limits whereas property owners within the city limits <br />would be required to construct a 6 inch water main fdr fire protection proposes <br />and would probably be required to enter into a pro rata contract if in side the <br />City limits. After further discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Wortham, <br />seconded by Councilman Kohls to deny the request. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Richard Babb, Consultant Engineer for drainage projects presented plans and _ <br />specifications and recommended authorization to advertise for bids for 17th <br />Street S. E. drainage project. After review of the plans, a motion was made <br />by Councilman Francis, seconded by Councilman Kyle for approval of the plans and <br />specifications and authorize advertisement for bids. The motion carried 7 ayes, <br />0 nays. <br />City Manager Sokoll presented proposals from McClanahan and Holmes and from Gary <br />Annis for audit of the City's accounts for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1980, <br />and recommended that McClanahan & Holmes be approved. After discussion, a motion <br />was made by Councilman Kyle, seconded by Councilman Bufford approving the City <br />Managers recommendation. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Malone requested the Council's consideration of a previously authorized <br />Ordinance authorizing stop signs at 25th S.
