T _ <br />J <br />City Manager Sokoll presented plans and specifications for hard surface basket- <br />ball court at Johnson Park, Chain Link Fence at Johnson and Record Park and <br />Bleachers at Wise Field and requested that the plans and specifications be <br />approved and authorization for advertisement for bids. A motion was made by <br />Councilman Burnett, seconded by Councilman Bufford approving the recommendations <br />of the City Manager. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />City Manager Sokoll requested authorization to advertise for bids for a Street <br />Sweeper. A motion was made by Councilman Francis seconded by Councilman Kohls <br />authorizing the bid and adding that additional brushes be included in the <br />specifications. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Malone requested the Council's consideration of the following Resolutions <br />for appointments to Boards and Commissions of the City. <br />Resolution No. 2031 appointing Cathie Spearman and Tallie Lipscomb to the <br />Committee of Architectural Preservation of the Central Business District of <br />the City of Paris was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Burnett, <br />seconded by Councilman Kohls for adoption of the Resolution. The motion carried <br />7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
