H <br />Mayor Malone called for tabulations of bids for new bleachers at Wise Field and <br />the following bids were presented: <br />Persenaire Park and Playground Products <br />Modlin Recreation Equipment, Inc. <br />Southern Bleachers <br />Unit Price Total <br />$755.00 $6,040.00 <br />$730.00 $5,840.00 <br />$715.00 $5,720.00 <br />$590.00 $4,720.00 <br />City Manager Sokoll recommended the bid of the Southern Bleachers in the amount <br />of $4,720.00 be awarded as the low and best bid. A motion was made by Council- <br />man Francis, seconded by Councilman Burnett approving the recommendation of the <br />City Manager. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Councilman Burnett an appointed member of the Northeast Texas Economic Development <br />District Board reported on a meeting of the Board and discussed priorities as <br />set by the Board. <br />Mayor Malone announced that the Council would go into executive session to <br />discuss legal matters with the City Attorney regarding the EMS Contract with <br />Lamar County. <br />The regular meeting was declared closed and the executive session open. <br />City Attorney Haynes discussed legal matters with the City Council. <br />The executive session was declared closed and the regular session declared open. <br />There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. <br />MICHAEL E.
