RESOLUTION NO. 2041 . <br />WHEREAS, Article 4436a -1, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes re- <br />quires that the Advisory Board of Health of the City of Paris and <br />County of Lamar shall consist of seven (7) members who are resi- <br />dent citizens of Lamar County who have resided within the County <br />for a period of more than three (3) years next preceding the time <br />of their appointments; and, <br />WHEREAS, the term of office of C. D. McMillan has expired, <br />and it is necessary to replace or re- appoint a person to fill the va- <br />cancy created by the expiration of his term; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, Michael E. Malone, <br />has recommended the re= appointment of C. D. McMillan, who con- <br />tinues to be qualified, to serve on said Advisory Board of Health of <br />the City of Paris and County of Lamar, for a term of two (2) years, <br />beginning July 1, 1980 and ending June 30, 1982; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That C. D. McMillan be re- appointed as a member to serve <br />on the Advisory Board of Health of the City of Paris and County of <br />Lamar for a term of two (2) years, beginning July 1, 1980 and end- <br />ing June 30, 1982. <br />Passed and adopted this 14th day of July, 1980. <br />Michae Malone, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />H.
