r <br />Mayor Malone announced that the Council would go into executive session and the <br />regular session was declared closed. <br />Discussion was had with the City Attorney concerning contracts, suits and claims <br />against the City. <br />Mayor Malone declared the executive session closed and the regular session open. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by Councilman Kyle to take <br />from the table action on Resolution No. 2039 presented earlier in the meeting. <br />The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by Councilman Francis for <br />adoption of Resolution No. 2039. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Malone announced that the request of Mrs. Vivian Green would be left on <br />the table and that the staff would be instructed to discuss the matter with Mrs. <br />Green. <br />City Manager Sokoll requested authorization to advertise for bids for a chlorinater <br />and a winch for the Maxey Treatment Plant. A motion was made by Councilman Kohls, <br />seconded by Councilman Kyle authorizing the request.
