-.7 �. i RESOLUTION No, 2004 .t '(WHEREAS, Texas Power & Light Company did, on January 4, 1980, file a schedule of rates for electric service within the City of Paris, to become effective February 9, 1980; and'. IMEREAS, after having heard the presentation of Texas Power & Light Company, it is the opinion of the City Council of the - City of Paris, that such schedule of rates should be suspended for a period of 120 days from February 9, 1980, for study, in- vestigation, receipt of evidence and public hearing before the City Council of the City of Paris at its next regular meeting; and, IMEREAS, a copy of this resolution has been provided Texas Power & Light Company prior to its consideration by the City Council of the City of Paris; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That a public hearing, be, and the-same is hereby set for 7 :00 P.M. on the 11th day of February, 1980, in the Council Room., City Hall, Paris, Texas, for the purpose of receiving any and all ' information germane to Texas Power & Light Company's request for rate increases, filed in the form of a schedule of rates with the City of.Paris on the 4th day of January, 1980; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That pursuant to Section 43(d) of the Public Utility Regulatory Act, that the operation of the Texas Power & Light Company's proposed rate schedules filed with the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, on the 4th day of January, 1980, be, and the same is hereby suspended for a period of 120 days for further study, investigation, receipt of evidence and public hearing..
