RESOLUTION N0, 2015 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did hereto- fore, in Resolution No. 1741, create and establish the Tree Preservation Committee; and, WHEREAS, it has been suggested by the Committee, and deemed to be in the best interest of said Committee's contribution, in its advisory capacity to the City Council, that the membership of said Committee be enlarged by adding three additional members, one to be a City Councilman, two to be Persons -at- -large having no designated affiliation; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY.OF PARIS, That Resolution No. 1741 be amended so that the Tree Preservation Committee shall consist of citizens bearing the following classifi- cations and appointed for terms as set out in conjunction with said classifications: CLASSIFICATIONS TERM Councilman Two Years Realtor and Alternate Two Years Contractor /Builder and Alternate Two Years Two Business Persons Two Years Two Members from the Council of Garden Clubs Two Years Two Persons -at -large Two Years Passed and adopted this 10th day of March, 1980. Haynes, City Attorney Mrs. Jean Campbell appeared before the Council and discussed the need of the City of Paris for a Municipal Swimming Pool. Resolution No. 2016 declaring April 1st, 1980 as census day in the City of Paris and encouraging the citizens cooperation with those charged with responsibility of taking the census was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by Councilman Fisher for adoption of the Resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays.
