RESOLUTION N0, 2015 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did hereto- <br />fore, in Resolution No. 1741, create and establish the Tree <br />Preservation Committee; and, <br />WHEREAS, it has been suggested by the Committee, and deemed <br />to be in the best interest of said Committee's contribution, in <br />its advisory capacity to the City Council, that the membership <br />of said Committee be enlarged by adding three additional members, <br />one to be a City Councilman, two to be Persons -at- -large having <br />no designated affiliation; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY.OF PARIS, <br />That Resolution No. 1741 be amended so that the Tree Preservation <br />Committee shall consist of citizens bearing the following classifi- <br />cations and appointed for terms as set out in conjunction with <br />said classifications: <br />CLASSIFICATIONS TERM <br />Councilman Two Years <br />Realtor and Alternate Two Years <br />Contractor /Builder and Alternate Two Years <br />Two Business Persons Two Years <br />Two Members from the Council of <br />Garden Clubs Two Years <br />Two Persons -at -large Two Years <br />Passed and adopted this 10th day of March, 1980. <br />I <br />Mic ael E. Haynes, City Attorney <br />Mrs. Jean Campbell appeared before the Council and discussed the need of the <br />City of Paris for a Municipal Swimming Pool. <br />Resolution No. 2016 declaring April 1st, 1980 as census day in the City of Paris <br />and encouraging the citizens cooperation with those charged with responsibility <br />of taking the census was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Burnett, <br />seconded by Councilman Fisher for adoption of the Resolution. The motion carried <br />7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
