City Manager Sokoll presented a request of the Farm Bureau for water service <br />in the gray area on the southwest loop west of Highway 24. City Manager <br />Sokoll advised that the Lamar County Water line presently runs in front of the <br />Farm Bureau property and that the City would have a line available in the <br />future approximately 300 feet east of the Farm Bureau Building which would <br />be available in approximately three months, but the Farm Bureau requested <br />service immediately. <br />After discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Farris, seconded by Council - <br />man Burnett to grant the request of the Farm Bureau for water service in the <br />gray area from the Lamar County Water Supply Corp. subject to their agreement <br />to pay their pro rata part of a 6 inch water line to be constructed by the <br />City in the future.
