f <br />JOINT RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PARIS <br />AND PARIS INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT <br />CITY OF PARIS RESOLUTION NO. 2018 <br />PARIS INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT RESOLUTION NO. 80 -3 - <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris and the Board <br />of Trustees of Paris Independent School District deem it to be in the <br />best interest of the citizens of said City and said District to exer- <br />cise the authority granted them as local governments under the <br />Interlocal Cooperation Act, Article 4413(32c), Vernon's Texas Civil <br />Statutes, and form a Joint Board of Equalization; and, <br />WHEREAS, the appointment, financing and authority of said <br />Board shall be as stated in the interlocal contract attached hereto <br />as Exhibit A; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS AND THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF PARIS INDEPENDENT <br />SCHOOL DISTRICT, That they do hereby agree to cooperate in the <br />forming of a Joint Board of Equalization to perform all tasks <br />necessary and required by the laws of the State of Texas for each <br />of said political subdivisions and in accordance with the interlocal <br />contract attached hereto as Exhibit A. <br />Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris, <br />in regular session convened, in the City Council Room, City Hall, <br />Paris, Texas, this the 14th day of April, 1980. <br />ATTEST: <br />reene, ity erk <br />Michael E.
