2309 <br />Resolution No. 1867 appointing Clovis Graves and Linda Brock as members of the Board <br />of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Paris for a term of two <br />years ending June 30, 1980 was presented. Motion was made by Councilman Williams, <br />seconded by Councilman Burnett for approval of the resolution. The motion carried <br />6 ayes, I nay, Councilman Philley voting nay. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1867 . <br />WHEREAS, the term of office of Ruth Hancock on the Board of <br />Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Paris has be- <br />come vacant due to her. death; and, <br />WHEREAS, the terms of office of J. D. McLaughlin and Oneal <br />Smtih on said Board will expire on June 30, 1978; and, <br />WHEREAS, it has been recommended to the City Council by the <br />Mayor, Michael. E. Malone, that Nadine Ausbie be appointed to fill <br />the unexpired term of Ruth Hancock which ends June 30, 1979, and <br />that Clovis Graves and Linda Brock be appointed to said Board for a <br />term of two (2) years, beginning July 1, 1978 and ending June " 30, 1980; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That Nadine Ausbie, be, and she is hereby appointed as a <br />member of the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of <br />the City of Paris to fill the unexpired term of Ruth Hancock which <br />ends June 30, 1979; and, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That Clovis Graves and Linda <br />Brock, be, and they are hereby appointed as members of the Board <br />of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Paris, for <br />a term of two (2) years, beginning July 1, 1978 and ending June 30, <br />1980. <br />Passed and adopted this 12th day of June, 1978. <br />..Michael E Malone, Mayor <br />r <br />ATTEST: <br />H.
