ilesolution No. 1868 re- appointing Dr. Don Black and Frances Ellis as members of the <br />Library Advisory Beard for a term of three years beginning July 1, 1978 was presented, <br />Motion was made by Councilman Williams, seconded by Councilman Fisher for approval of <br />the resolution. The motion carried ayes, 0 nays. <br />RESOLUTION NO, 1868 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did in <br />Resolution No. 1820 establish the Library Advisory Board to consist <br />of seven (7) members, with staggered initial appointments as follows: <br />Two (2) members for one year terms, three (3) members for two <br />year terms and two (2) members for three year terms, and there- <br />after all appointments to be for three year terms; and, <br />WHEREAS, the terms of office of Don Black and Frances Ellis <br />will expire on June 30, 1978, and the Mayor of the City of Paris, <br />Michael E. Malone, having re- appointed Don Black and Frances Ellis, <br />to serve on the Library Advisory Board for a term of three (3) years, <br />beginning July 1, 1978 and ending June 30, 1981, and has submitted <br />the names of such persons to the City Council of- the City of Paris; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That the re- appointments of Don Black and Frances Ellis, <br />as members of the Library Advisory Board, for a term of three (3) <br />years, beginning- July 1, 1978 and ending June 30, 1981, are by the <br />City Council of the City of Paris hereby approved and confirmed. <br />Passed and adopted this 12th day of June, 1978. <br />Michael E.
