Mayor Malone called for tabulation of bids received for the sale of part of Lot 3, <br />City Block 127, located between the Police Department and the Coca Cola Plant. <br />City Manager advised that only one bid had been received that being from the <br />Coca Cola Company in the amount of $30,100.00, and recommended its acceptance. <br />Before reading of the Resolution for authorization of the sale, Mayor Malone <br />called for tabulation of bids on .562 acre tract of land on F,79. City <br />Manager Sokoll advised that only one bid was received and that from James <br />Thompson in the amount of $1,050.00 and recommended its acceptance and approval. <br />Resolution No. 1887 authorizing the Mayor to execute deeds on behalf of the <br />City of Paris to convey tract one to Paris Coca Cola Company and Tract two <br />to James Thompson and further resolving that tract one be referred to the <br />Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris for its recommendation <br />on zoning of tract one was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Wunsch, <br />seconded by Councilman Williams for approval of the Resolution. Motion carried <br />7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
