.y <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1887 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did at its <br />regular meeting on the 14th day of August, 1978 approve the ad- <br />vertisement for bids for the sale of two pieces of property de- <br />scribed as Tract 1 and Tract 2 on Exhibit A attached hereto, <br />which bids were received until 10:00 o'clock A. M., Wednesday, <br />September 6, 1978; and, <br />WHEREAS, the highest bid by responsible bidder for Tract 1 <br />was Paris Coca Cola Bottling Company in the amount of $30, 100.00 <br />and for Tract 2 was James Thompson in the amount of $1, 050.00; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That the bid of Paris Coca Cola Bottling Company, in the <br />amount of $30,100.00, for Tract 1, conditioned upon appropriate <br />zoning, and the bid of James Thompson, in the amount of $1, 050. 00, <br />for Tract 2, are hereby accepted and let; and, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor of the City of <br />Paris, Michael E. Malone, be, and he is hereby authorized and di- <br />rected to execute deeds on behalf of the City of Paris to convey <br />Tract 1 to Paris Coca Cola Bottling Company and Tract 2 to <br />James Thompson; and, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That Tract 1 is hereby re- <br />ferred to the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris <br />for its recommendation as to appropriate zoning of Tract 1 <br />described on Exhibit A attached hereto, so that the same may be <br />used by Paris Coca Cola Bottling Company in conjunction with its <br />operation. <br />Passed and adopted this 11th day of September, 1978. <br />Michael E.
