City Attorney Haynes explained that a correcting Ordinance was necessary <br />to correct Ordinance No. 2405 concerning left turn markings. <br />Ordinance No 2408 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS PROVIDING THAT <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2405, WHICH AMENDED THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY <br />OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, BY REVISING THE TRAFFIC- CONTROL DEVICE <br />MAP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 29 -80, BE AMENDED; <br />PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL <br />ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND <br />PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF OCTOBER 1, 1978. <br />was presented. Motion was made by Councilman Wunsch, seconded by Councilman <br />Burnett for adoption of the Ordinance. Motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />City Manager Sokoll presented some tentative plans for future construction <br />of T. hangers and advised that there was an offer from the FAA for an <br />amendment to the City's grant agreement for the airport development aid <br />program to expand the apron and overlay the T. hanger taxiways. <br />Resolution No. 1890 authorizing and directing the City Manager to execute <br />amendment No. 2 to the grant agreement with the FAA was presented. Motion <br />was made by Councilman Williams, seconded by Councilman Fisher for approval <br />of the Resolution. Motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
