RESOLUTION NO. 1889 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did at its <br />regular meeting on the 14th day of August, 1978, approve the ad- <br />vertisement for bids for inspection, furnishing, installation and <br />replacing all worn or defective parts and devices included in the <br />instrumentation system in the City of Paris Water Treatment faci- <br />lities and for complete maintenance on an annual basis, which bids <br />were received until 10:00 o'clock A. M., - Wednesday, September 6, <br />1978; and, <br />WHEREAS, the best bid for the instrumentation project and <br />for the maintenance of the same thereafter was made by <br />Honeywell Inc., and each of said bids were accepted and let by <br />the City Council of the City of Paris at its Council Meeting on the <br />11th day of September, 1978; and, . <br />WHEREAS, the form of contract to complete the instrumen- <br />tation project is attached hereto as Exhibit A, and the form of <br />contract for complete maintenance on an annual basis is attached. <br />hereto as Exhibit B; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF PARIS, That the City Manager of the City of Paris, Robert W. <br />Sokoll, be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute on <br />behalf of the City of Paris the contract for the above described <br />instrumentation project, in the amount of $22, 100. 00, upon the <br />terms and conditions and in the form shown in Exhibit A attached <br />hereto, and the contract for the above described annual mainte- <br />nance, in the amount of $13,355. 00, upon the 4erms and conditions <br />and in the form shown in Exhibit B attached hereto, each with <br />Honeywell Inc. <br />Passed and adopted this 25th day of September, 1978. ot <br />c ae E.
