Mayor Malone called for the tabulation of bids for seven new pickup trucks, <br />and the following bids were received. <br />Bill Booth Motors, Inc. $31,075.30 <br />Kosterman Motor Co. $32,773.79 <br />Morphew Buick -GMC Truck Co. $31,962.61 <br />Lowry Chevrolet,. Inc. $32,237.92 <br />City Manager Sokoll recommended that the bid of Bill Booth Motors, Inc. in <br />the amount of $31,075.30 be approved. A motion was made by Councilman <br />Farris, seconded by Councilman Wunsch to approve the recommendation of the <br />City Manager. Motion carried 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Malone called for the receipt of tabulations of bids for a steel <br />maintenance building for the Street and Sanitation Departments, and the <br />following bids were received. <br />Spencer Construction Company $41,692.00 <br />Harrison & Walker Building System $48,884.00 <br />City Manager Sokoll recommended that the bid of the Spencer Construction <br />Company be approved in the amount of $41,692.00 be approved. <br />Resolution No. 1892 authorizing the City Manager to enter into a contract <br />with George Spencer DBA Spencer Construction Company in the amount of <br />$41,692.00 for construction of the maintenance building was presented. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by Councilman Williams <br />for. adoption of the Ri1�061:ution: ° Motion-Parried. 6 ayes, 0 nays, <br />_i <br />
