AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEZAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. I (MF -1) ON LOTS 6, 7, 8 AND9 BLOCK 1, HAYES HEIGHTS. ADDITION, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO WHITW ---T, INC., SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE- FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. Z (Sl' -2) AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE MULTIPLE', FAMILY DOLLING DISTRICT NO. 1 (MF -1) SO ESTABLISHED. was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Wunsch, seconded by Councilman Fisher for adoption of the Ordinance. Motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. Mayor Malone declared the public hearing open on the petition of Jack Denman and James Rheudasil for a change in zoning from a One Family Dwelling District No. 2 and Planned Development - Housing Development to a General Retail District on Lots 4, 4A and 4B, City Block 286 located on the north side of Lamar Avenue east of Collegiate Drive. Councilman Farris requested to be excused from the public hearing. A motion was made by Councilman Wunsch, seconded by Councilman Burnett to excuse , Councilman Farris. Motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. Councilman Farris left the Council Chambers. Mayor Malone called for proponents to appear and Mr. Jack Denman appeared befor-- the Council stating that a new Bank for the City of Paris was proposed for the location should a charter be granted for the new Bank, and that the new Bank be called the Lamar County Bank. Mayor Malone called for opponents to appear and none appeared. Mayor.Malone declared the public hearing closed, and Ordinance No. 2418: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND.CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) ON LOTS 4, 4A AND 4B, CITY BLOCK 286, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO JACK DENMAN AND JAMES RHEUDASIL, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE - FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 1(SF -2) AND A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT, HOUSING DEVELOPMENT (PD =b); ANDDESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR)-SO ESTABLISHED. was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Burnett, seconded by Councilman Williams for adoption of the Ordinance. Motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. Councilman Farris entered the Council Chambers and assumed his seat at the council table. City Manager Sokoll presented a replat of Lots 16, 17, and 18, Block 3, Town North Estates, and recommended its approval. A- motion was made by Councilman Wunsch, seconded by Councilman Burnett for approval of the replat. Motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays.
