RESOLUTION NO. 1852 <br />WHEREAS, upon request of the adjoining property owners and <br />upon the finding cf no public necessity, the City Council of the City <br />of Paris did in Ordinance No. 2285 close the alley, beginning at the <br />West Boundary Line of 20th Street, N. W. , at the South East, Corner. <br />of Lot 1 and the North East Corner of Lot 12, Block 2, Wetside <br />Addition, being 15 feet wide, and extending in a Westerly direction <br />approximately 300 feet, more or less, to the East Boundary Line of <br />the dedicated right of way of 21st Street, N. W. and the South West <br />Corner of Lot 6 and the North West. Corner of Lot 7, Block 2, <br />Westside Addition, lying adjacent to the South Boundary Lines of <br />Lots 1 through 6 and adjacent to the North Boundary Lines of Lots 7 <br />through 12, all in Block 2, Westside Addition, and the alley, beginning <br />at the West Boundary Line -of the dedicated right of way of 21st <br />Street, N. W. , .-t the South East Corner of Lot 1 and the North East <br />Corner of Lot 12, Block 3, Westside Addition, being 15 feet. wide, and <br />extending in a Westerly direction approximately. 300 feet, more or less, <br />to the East Boundary Line of 22nd Street, N. W. and the South West <br />Corner of Lot 6 and the North West Corner of Lot 7, Block 3, <br />Westside Addition, lying adjacent to the South Boundary Lines of <br />Lots 1 through 6 and adjacent to 'the North Boundary Lines of Lots 7 <br />through 12, all in Block 3, Westside Addition; and, <br />WHEREAS, it is appropriate that the property contained in the <br />alleys closed by conveyed, one -half each to the record title holders <br />of the adjacent property on the date of such closure, being May 10, <br />1976; NOW,. THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That the Mayor of the City of Paris, James M. Brunette, be, <br />and he is hereby authorized to execute a quit claim deed to 7-1/2 <br />feet of the 15 foot alley, which was closed, to the adjacent owners <br />on either side of said alley, it appearing that the real and true <br />owners of the hereinafter described lots out of Blocks 2 and 3, <br />Westside Addition, are as follows: <br />BLOCK 2. <br />Lots 1 & 2 <br />Ray Slagle <br />Lots 3 & 4 <br />Mrs. W.
