Following discussion, Councilman Wunsch moved for adoption of the Resolution. Council- <br />man Williams seconded the motion which carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Brunette declared a public hearing open to consider an Addendum to the Ambulance <br />Service Contract. <br />Charles Cass spoke saying he had requested this item to be placed on both the Council <br />agenda and the Lamar County Commissioners Court agenda. He stated the Commissioners <br />Court had tabled the matter at thgir Monday meeting. He went on to say that a contract <br />agreeable to all parties could be presented by March 15, 1978 and he requested a joint <br />meeting of the Council and Commissioners on that date. <br />Mayor Brunette declared the Public Hearing closed and requested a motion to set a <br />meeting for 5:15 P.M., Wednesday, March 15, 1978 in the Council Room to consider this <br />matter. <br />Councilman Williams moved to set the meeting as requested. Councilman Malone seconded <br />the motion which carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Brunette announced that an Ordinance regulating the installation of insulation <br />was next to be considered. City Attorney Haynes briefed the Council on the matter. <br />Ordinance No. 2379 <br />f°AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT <br />THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE AMENDED BY ADDING <br />SECTIONS TO BE NUMBERED 7 -20, 7 -21, 7 -22 AND 7 -24, PROVIDING <br />FOR THE REGULATION OF THE INSTALLATION OF INSULATION; PROVIDING <br />FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES <br />OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR <br />AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF APRIL 1, 1978." <br />was presented. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Williams, seconded by Councilman Stone for adoption. <br />The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />
