Co. - 0 - <br />City Manager Sweatt recommended that the low bid of the Glass Implement Company in <br />the amount of $11,000.00, net bid, be approved. The motion was made by Councilman <br />Hutchison and seconded by Councilman Whitaker that the recommendation of the City <br />Manager be approved. 'The motion carried: 4 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Resolution No. 1643, authorizing and directing the City Manager to apply for an <br />increased grant, from 50% to 82 %, for the purchase of fire fighting equipment at <br />Cox Field, was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Stone and seconded by <br />Councilman Moore that the Resolution be adopted. The motion carried: 4 ayes, <br />0 nays. <br />
