4 <br />Ordinance No. 2200: <br />"AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE, TIME AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC <br />NEARING ON THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY BY <br />THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND AUTHORIZING AND DI- <br />RECTING THE MAYOR TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC HEARING. <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Hutchison and seconded by- Council- <br />man Whitaker that the Ordinance be adopted. The motion carried: 4 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Resolution No. 1644, calling for a public hearing before the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission for zoning of Campbell Soup Company property and calling for a public <br />hearing to be set before the City Council of the City of Paris at 7:00 P. M. on <br />the lath day of November, 1974, was presented. A motion was made by Councilman <br />Whitaker and seconded by Councilman Stone that the Resolution be adopted. The <br />motion carried: 4 ayes, 0 nays. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1644 . <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris is considering <br />annexation of Campbell Soup Company property adjacent to the North <br />Right of Way Line of Loop 286 N. W., described on Exhibit A <br />attached hereto; and, <br />WHEREAS, it is deemed in the best interest of the property <br />owner involved that said property be appropriately zoned at the <br />time of annexation; and, <br />WHEREAS, Section 18 402 of Ordinance No. 1710 requires that <br />a public hearing be held concerning annexation and zoning, in order <br />for zoning to be given at the time of annexation; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That a hearing be set before the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission of the City of Paris at 7:00 o'clock P. M. , on the 4th <br />day of November, 1974, in the Council Room, City Hall, Paris, <br />Texas, for the purpose of considering annexation and compatible <br />zoning of Campbell Soup Company property.. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a public hearing be set <br />before the City Council of the City of. Paris at 7:00 o'clock P. M. , <br />on the 11th day of November, 1974, in the Council Room, City Hall, <br />Paris, Texas, for the purpose of consideration of zoning of <br />Campbell Soup Company property. <br />Passed and adopted this 21st day of October, 1974. <br />ATTEST: <br />H.
