152 <br />City Manager - Sweatt advised the Council of the appointment of Jimmy L. Collier <br />as Airport manager and requested his confirmation. A motion was made by Councilman <br />Moore and seconded by Councilman Hutchison that the appointment of Jimmy L. Col- <br />lier as Airport manager be confirmed. The motion carried: 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Resolution No. 1647, appointing F. D. Mallory, III and Mr. Dee Cunningham to fill <br />vacancies on the Library Board membership, was presented. A motion was made by <br />Councilman King and seconded by Councilman Moore that the resolution be adopted. <br />The motion carried: 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1647 <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Paris Public Library <br />shall consist of not less than five (5) members nor more than twelve <br />(12) members, in accordance with Section 17 -16 of the Code of <br />Ordinances of the City of Paris; and, <br />WHEREAS, Sam Stone and D. Bradley Hutchison have resigned <br />as members of the Board of Directors of the Paris Public Library; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, as required by said Section 17 -16, the Bca rd of <br />Directors has heretofore recommended F. D. Mallory, III and <br />Dee Cunningham to fill the vacancies created by said resignations; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF PARIS, That F. D.
