151 <br />Mr. Holberg informed the Council of the recommendation of the Traffic Commission* <br />to change Third Street N. W. from Bonham to Graham Street to two -way traffic. <br />Mr. Holberg advised that this was in conjunction with the planned drive -in fa- <br />cilities of the First National Bank to be constructed. on its parking area, and <br />that the two -way designation of Third Street N. W. would facilitate flow of traffic. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Whitaker and seconded by Councilman Stone to <br />authorize the preparation of an ordinance encompassing the recommendation of the <br />Traffic Commission. The motion carried: 6 ayes,. 0 nays. <br />Mr. Holberg informed the Council that the Traffic Commission had recommended that <br />the Stop signs on Clark Lane at 25th Street S. E. be removed. A motion was made <br />by Councilman Rainey and seconded by Councilman Moore that the recommendation of <br />the Traffic Commission be approved. The motion carried: 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Resolution No. 1646, enlarging the Airport Advisory Board from 5 members to 6 <br />members and appointing Hubert Westfall as a member of the Airport Advisory Board, - <br />was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Stone and seconded by Councilman <br />Whitaker that the resolution be adopted. The motion carried: 6 ayes, 0 nays. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1646 . <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did in <br />Resolution No. 1354, establish an Airport Advisory Board to act in <br />an advisory capacity to the City Council in relation. to the Municipal <br />Airport, its operation and facilities; which Board originally con- <br />sisted of seven members, and was thereafter reduced to five mem- <br />bers by Resolution No. 1538; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris finds that it <br />is to the best interest of the City of Paris that said Board member- <br />ship be expanded to six members; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, James M. Brunette, <br />does hereby recommend the appointment of Hubert Westfall to bring <br />the expanded Board to full membership; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF PARIS, That the Airport Advisory Board hereafter consist of <br />six (6) members; and, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That Hubert Westfall be <br />appointed a member of the Airport Advisory Board to serve from <br />this date through December 31, 1975. <br />Passed and adopted this 11th day of November, 1974. <br />ATTEST: <br />� _4L <br />H.
