1.7 L+ <br />Resolution No. 1655, authorizing the mayor to execute on behalf of -the City of Paris <br />Addendum Number 2 to agreement to option to lease dated August 9, 1971 between the <br />City of Paris and AGPRO, Inc., was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Rainey <br />and seconded by Councilman Moore that the resolution be adopted.. The motion carried: <br />7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1655 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Paris is investigating a work project at <br />Cox Field, Paris, Texas, in order to extend the North -South Runway; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, ' the Northerly extension requires the encroachment <br />upon property heretofore leased to Agpro, Inc. ; and, <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary that the City of Paris re- acquire <br />full surface rights to a portion of such property and to restrict the use <br />of other property heretofore leased to Agpro, Inc., all of which has <br />been encompassed in Addendum No. 2 to Agreement to Option to Lease, <br />dated August 9, 1971; between the City of Paris, Paris, 'T'exas, Lessor <br />and Agpro, Inc., Lessee, attached hereto as Exhibit A; NOW, THERE- <br />FORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That the Mayor of the City of Paris, James M. Brunette, be, <br />and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the <br />City of Paris, Addendum No. 2 to Agreement to Option to Lease, dated <br />August 9, 1971, between the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, Lessor and <br />Agpro, Inc. , Lessee, attached hereto as Exhibit A. <br />Passed and adopted this 9th day of December, 1974. <br />Ja s M.
