57 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1633 . <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has heretofore <br />approved the advertisement for bids for a diesel powered crawler <br />tractor dozer in accordance with detailed specifications dated <br />September, 1974, which bids were received until 10:00 o'clock A. M. , <br />Wednesday, September 4, 1974; and, <br />WHEREAS, the best bid for said diesel powered crawler tractor <br />dozer was made by Plains Machinery Company and it should be awarded <br />the contract for such tractor; and, <br />WHEREAS, the form of contract to furnish the diesel powered <br />crawler tractor dozer is attached hereto as Exhibit A; NOW, THERE- <br />FORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That the bid of Plains Machinery Company, to furnish a diesel <br />powered crawler tractor dozer, in the amount of $99, 466. 00, is hereby <br />accepted and let; and, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor of the City of <br />Paris, James M. Brunette, be, and he is hereby authorized and di- <br />rected to execute on behalf of the City of Paris the contract to fur- <br />nish diesel powered crawler tractor dozer between the City of Paris <br />and the Plains Machinery Company, upon the terms and conditions and <br />in the form as shown in Exhibit A attached hereto. <br />Passed and adopted this 9th day of September, 1974. <br />J es M.
