<br />RESOLUTION NO. 1635
<br />WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City Council
<br />of the City of Paris, that in the Plat of the P. J. Willis & Bros. Sub-
<br />division, in Paris, Lamar County, Texas,
<br />as shown by said plat, re-
<br />corded Book 86, Page 86, Deed Records,
<br />Lamar County, Texas, that
<br />there is an alley, beginning at the East
<br />Boundary Line of 15th Street,
<br />S. E. , at the South West Corner of Lot
<br />1, Block B, P. J. Willis & Bros.
<br />Subdivision, and the North West Corner
<br />of Lot 6, Block B, P. J. Willis
<br />& Bros. Subdivision, being 13 feet wide
<br />and extending in an Easterly
<br />direction 498 feet, more or less, to the
<br />West Boundary Line of 17th
<br />Street, S. E. and the South East Corner
<br />of Lot 5, Block B, P. J. Willis
<br />& Bros. Subdivision, and the North East
<br />Corner of Lot 10, Block B,
<br />P. J. Willis & Bros. Subdivision, lying adjacent to the South Boundary
<br />Lines of Lots 1 through 5 and adjacent
<br />to the North Boundary Lines of
<br />Lots 6 through 10, all in Block B of the
<br />P. J. Willis & Bros. Subdivision;
<br />and,

<br />WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City Council
<br />that the alley described in said plat is not desired by the property
<br />owners adjacent to said alley and that said alley is of no use to the
<br />City of Paris, and; therefore, no necessity exists therefor; NOW,
<br />THEREFORE,
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />PARIS, That the Mayor of the City of Paris, James M. Brunette, be,
<br />and he is hereby authorized to execute a quit claim deed to 6 -1/2 feet
<br />of the 13 foot alley being closed to the adjacent owners on either side
<br />of said alley, it appearing that that the real and true owners of the
<br />hereinafter described lots and parts of lots out of Block B in the
<br />P. J. Willis & Bros. Subdivision are as follows:
